Adam focuses his practice on advising clients through all phases of estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts. He works with established and high-net-worth clients (including business owners and farmers), as well as clients who have no prior estate planning experience.

As an advocate for his clients, Adam prefers a team-based approach, collaborating with his clients’ accountants, financial advisors, and other trusted professionals to create tailored planning strategies to limit tax consequences and facilitate asset transfer.

Taking a pragmatic approach to his practice, Adam develops real-world solutions to address his clients’ unique concerns, both when developing their estate plans and when helping them navigate the estate and trust administration process. He understands that his clients are often faced with frustrating or challenging situations, which is why he focuses on developing solutions rather than highlighting problems. Recognizing that estate planning involves more than merely typing out a will or a trust, Adam looks at an estate plan holistically and advises his clients on the related matters that are impacted by their estate plan, including real estate transfers and business succession planning.

Adam realizes that, when the time comes to administer someone’s estate, families can often feel overwhelmed by the process. Whether he is advising families on their estate and inheritance tax obligations or helping them navigate the court system through a probate proceeding, Adam has extensive experience counseling clients through every phase of the estate and trust administration process. If disputes arise over an estate, Adam also has substantial experience helping clients navigate the difficult world of estate litigation.

Adam holds a designation as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy from the American College of Financial Services. An Omaha native, Adam enjoys spending his free time with his family. He is an avid runner and a struggling golfer, and he volunteers at Holy Cross Church and School.
