Rhianna Kittrell is a dedicated attorney with more than a decade of experience advising clients through the evolving landscape of labor and employment law. While her practice primarily focuses on representing employers, she also counsels employees in select matters, bringing a balanced and strategic perspective to every case.
Rhianna provides practical, business-oriented guidance on a full spectrum of employment law issues, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, internal investigations, and policy development. She regularly drafts customized employee handbooks and policies for multi-state employers, and trains HR professionals and managers on lawful management practices, wage and hour compliance, and preventing harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
Rhianna has experience representing clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), state fair employment practices agencies, and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Her litigation work includes defending claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination. She also counsels clients on employment agreements, including non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and proper worker classification.
Rhianna also has experience managing associate attorneys across practice areas, overseeing mentorship programs, and coordinating training initiatives—experience that reflects her leadership and investment in developing the legal profession.
Rhianna has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Labor & Employment Law–Management (2021–2023) and selected to the Super Lawyers Great Plains Rising Stars list (2019–2023).
Rhianna earned her J.D. with high distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History, graduating with highest distinction from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
An engaged community member, Rhianna has served on the board of the girlFRIENDS Guild, supporting Girls Inc. of Omaha, and co-organized local fundraising events. She has also mentored students through externship programs focused on empowering girls and young professionals.
Outside of work, Rhianna enjoys traveling with her husband and two young children, spending time outdoors, relaxing with her dogs, and participating in community events that support and strengthen the Omaha area.
