From formation to dissolution Margaret (“Maggie”) Rossiter assists businesses at every stage of their lifecycle, with a practice focused on nonprofit governance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She regularly advises clients on complex transactions and organizational governance, serving as a strategic partner as they navigate growth, change, and long-term planning.
Maggie works with a wide range of clients, from startups and small businesses to women entrepreneurs, multi-generational family-owned companies, and nonprofit organizations. Across all engagements, she develops creative, practical strategies, and is known for providing thoughtful, solution-oriented advice and counsel.
Maggie is a dedicated advisor to nonprofit organizations, assisting with formation, governance, and board fiduciary duties, as well as regulatory and compliance matters, all while helping clients stay focused on their mission and organizational goals.
She also advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers and sellers in privately held company transactions. Her work includes structuring, due diligence, and negotiation, with an emphasis on managing risk and achieving efficient, business-aligned outcomes.
Known for her discernment and curiosity, Maggie listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and ensures clients understand each step of the process so they can make confident, informed decisions.
Maggie earned her Juris Doctor from the Creighton University School of Law in 2019, cum laude. Before beginning law school, she spent a year in Spain teaching English to grade school students. As a proud Omaha native, Maggie takes advantage of the many opportunities and events the metropolitan community offers, particularly in the arts and also serves as a board member for several nonprofit organizations. Outside of the office, she uses her creativity to perform in comedy improv shows.
